Labor Day Weekend, Part 4

Today we had to drive back to Hutchinson, but on the way, we stopped in Ashland, Nebraska at the Simmons Conservation Park & Wildlife Safari. Yes, it was as awesome as it sounds. Most of it was a drive thru nature preserve, but we also got to do a little hiking in a few areas. We saw quite a few North American animals, including elk, bison, antelope, wolves, and black bears. It was actually a pretty cool place, with a lot of land. The animals really felt like the weren't captive for the most part, even tho they are probably totally domestic. Anyway, it was a good way to break up the drive and get in a little more outdoor time before we start the work week up again tomorrow.

There is no stopping on road trips. You got to make good time, that is all road trips are, one big race to make better time than your previous drive
